Set up on other apps

You can use your goned mail mailbox in any email app that supports IMAP/SMTP - Apple Mail, Outlook, Gmail, or others. Below are the settings and steps for the most common ones.

Server settings

Works for any email app, not just the ones described below.

The password requested is the mailbox's own password (view/set it from your account, per address), not your portal sign-in password.

Apple Mail (Mac, iPhone, iPad)

  1. 1.On Mac: Mail -> Settings -> Accounts -> the "+" button -> "Add Other Account..." -> "Mail account". On iPhone/iPad: Settings -> Mail -> Accounts -> Add Account -> Other -> Add Mail Account.
  2. 2.Enter the name, email address, and the mailbox's password.
  3. 3.If asked for manual setup, use the IMAP and SMTP settings from the table above, with the full email address as the username.

Outlook

  1. 1.File -> Add Account (on Mac or mobile: Settings -> Add Account).
  2. 2.Choose "Advanced options" and check "Let me set up my account manually", then select IMAP.
  3. 3.Enter the IMAP and SMTP settings from the table above, with the full email address as the username and the mailbox's password.

Gmail (mobile app)

  1. 1.Open the Gmail app -> Settings -> Add account -> Other.
  2. 2.Enter the email address, then choose "Personal (IMAP)".
  3. 3.Enter the IMAP and SMTP settings from the table above and the mailbox's password.

Gmail on the web doesn't support adding an external account via IMAP directly - use the Gmail mobile app or another client (Apple Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird).

Other apps (Thunderbird, K-9 Mail, any IMAP client)

  1. 1.When adding the account, choose "Manual setup" / "Advanced" / "Custom" instead of automatic configuration.
  2. 2.Enter the exact IMAP and SMTP settings from the table above, with the full email address as the username and the mailbox's password.
